These scans are from some marketing documents that were released in 1992 for Computervision’s Personal Designer line of CAD software.  In order to better familiarize myself with the product and gain a more in-depth knowledge of what the customer would want in their software, I obtained the documentation necessary to teach myself how the program worked.

I had one of those green glass banker-type lamps on my desk and figured that it was as good as anything else, so I decided to use Personal Designer to create a wire frame and then to shade the lamp.

Upon finishing, I submitted the drawings to the marketing department, and they decided that it was worth including some images in the marketing material.

The scans below depict some of those drawings from the marketing material.
